Apple pickin' Saturday September 19, 2009, 0 comments

We went on our annual apple picking adventure today. It was a glorious fall day, almost as crisp as the apples we were munching on the whole time.

Apple pie, apple chutney, apple crisp, dehydrated apple rings, apple sauce… I feel like that guy from Forest Gump!

Somehow I managed to take absolutely no pictures of Jordan, which is probably because she was off in the distance, talking to Aidon on the walkie-talkie watches Sarah’s dad gave them when her parents were here last week. You can see the earpiece in Aidon’s ear in the picture below. Pretty cool little radios!

The iPhone is great for bringing along and taking these types of photos. It certainly isn’t as good as the dSLR, but at least it fits in my pocket.

All in all a great family outing, and now a firmly established tradition.
