Even more practice. I am particularly fond of this one, it has life and vitality that is sometimes hard for me to capture in a line drawing.

More practice. It’s a good excercise, even if you’re only trying to improve your layout skills. I highly recommend this sort of study in any medium.

I’ve felt the need to brush up on my drawing and illustration (and Illustrator) skills, feeling they’re a bit behind my Photoshop chops.
